Favorite bands?

I figured I'd like to get to know everyone better by seeing what their favorite type of music is and whatnot. So I added this thread to see who likes what and exchange band information, and help the bands get new fans. In case you havn't seen already, I am very into heavy music and various softies. I really like some mainstream music, but I am very into supporting local bands in my home state of Louisiana. Here's a few of my favorites both local and mainstream.
